Job Description

We have a public company seeking a Comp Consultant to support their organization on a contract basis. This is would start ASAP (potentially this week).

This role would be covering for someone going out on LOA and would be approximately 3 months in length.

Pay is $70-$80/hr (DOE)

The client is seeking someone with 10+ years of progressive Compensation Analyst experience to support the day-to-day tactical hands-on work.

This role requires onsite work--candidate must be able to be onsite at least 3-days a week in their San Jose, CA location.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide support on compensation projects as needed - support with payouts for retention bonuses, Italy bonus, Operator bonus, CEO bonus (auditing and submissions)
  • Support core total rewards processes - including focal, promotions, job evaluation, reorgs, LTI, bonus programs
  • Focal Process Global (Non sales and Sales) - Budgeting, Project planning, finalizing the excel, review, updates, consulting with org VP's
  • Long Term Incentive Global (includes Chirp, TPI) - Consulting, Budgeting to finance, finalizing excel
  • Focal, LTI letter generation and audit (Sales & non sales)
  • Subject matter expert in compensation to optimize hiring and maximize employee retention
  • Partner with Staffing to ensure effective use of compensation data including job codes, titles, grades/job levels
  • Auditing data and processes, compensation documentation, drive process improvements
  • Partner with FP&A to develop annual salary budgets and manage usage
  • Coach managers on compensation decisions in partnership with HR business partners
  • Immigration help if needed
  • Radford - support with responses on survey if questions arise after submission of data

Key Skills, Knowledge, Attributes

  • Experience in compensation, preferably within the tech industry, semiconductor background
  • Knowledge of compensation principles, concepts and techniques
  • Ability to develop relationships, collaborate effectively, customer focused, attention to detail
  • Experience with ADP
  • Extensive experience with Radford Tech and Sales surveys
  • Advanced data analysis skills (proficient with MS Excel) and maintaining complex spreadsheets
  • Slight knowledge of sales comp – best practices
  • Project management
  • Knowledge of compensation strategies and incentive programs
