Administrative Assistant
Position Summary:
The Administrative Assistant provides overall administrative support to the Chief Compliance Officer and Compliance team. Responsible for ensuring administrative duties are executed accurately under the guidance of the Credentialing Manager, Credentialing Director and Chief Compliance Officer.
Job Duties:
· Provides administrative support to ensure efficient operation of the Corporate Compliance Credentialing team.
· Responsible for managing the Credentialing e-mail inbox including categorizing incoming communication, delegating, electronic filing, and creation of corresponding tickets in the FreshService ticketing system.
· Supports the daily maintenance of the FreshService ticketing system for the Credentialing team.
· Reviews, sorts, and distributes mail for the Corporate Compliance department, including electronic mail received through MediStream.
· Carries out administrative duties such as scanning and filing documents within OneDrive, copying, binding, etc.
· Maintains hard copy and electronic Corporate Compliance Regulatory Binders; prints and ships Corporate Compliance Regulatory Binders as requested by the Credentialing team.
· Maintains various databases and spreadsheets as requested.
· Maintains certain functions of the check request process and bond request process.
· Assists with completing weekly expense reports for the Credentialing team.
· Assists with special projects to include but not limited to mailings, acquisition documentation, cover letters, etc.
· May act as a liaison between other departments, including high-level staff such as senior vice presidents, presidents, CEOs, and chief executives. May require handling of confidential non-routine information.
· Maintain patient confidentiality and function within the guidelines of HIPAA.
· Performs other related duties as requested or assigned.
Requirements:Minimum Job Qualifications:
· High School Diploma or equivalency
· Two (2) years related experience is required and may be general clerical experience
· Exact experience considered is Administrative Assistant or Secretary
