Padraic graduated from NUIG with an honours degree in Civil Engineering in 1997 and immediately commenced employment in private practice.

Having developed his skills across a range of residential and commercial project types Padraic then founded Padraic Hession & Associates in March 2006 which then rebranded to become PHE, Engineering & Architecture in 2022. This rebranding is very much due to the company’s evolution to have grown beyond just Padraic to a team of Engineers and Architects supported by our trusted partners of other design professionals to be able to bring a full suite of services to clients from the firm. Having worked on a range of projects from one off houses to multi-million euro commercial and residential projects with private clients, developers, contractors and multi-national clients, Padraic is very proud of the expertise this now brings to all projects and clients. Having built a diverse team and guided the company through both very successful times and the challenges of recession and other challenges such as the Covid pandemic, Padraic has proven both his and the company’s resilience and focus to be able to provide expertise to clients in all conditions.

Padraic is very excited about delivering further success with his team and clients as the business continues to evolve and grow.
