Job Description

We are seeking an energetic Talent Acquisition Manager to join our Client's fast-growing startup in the industrial real estate space, building a bold, forward-thinking team to revolutionize how talent is engaged and scaled in our industry. They are not a traditional firm, so we’re not looking for traditional. They're building from the ground up and looking for a hands on, strategic leader who thrives in a startup environment. This is a fulltime in office position.

In this role you will build, lead, and scale all internal recruiting function. You’ll architect and execute a recruitment strategy that attracts top-tier talent across multiple disciplines relevant to industrial real estate (e.g., development, acquisitions, asset management, operations, technology, investment officers). You will be responsible for building and mentoring a high-performing team of recruiters who can move quickly, think creatively, and represent our values in the marketplace.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement a scalable, startup-friendly recruitment strategy aligned with company growth goals.
  • Build a team of high-impact recruiters from scratch, fostering a culture of performance, accountability, and innovation.
  • Own and manage the full-cycle recruiting process across all departments—prioritizing speed, quality, and candidate experience.
  • Partner directly with the CEO and leadership team to identify critical hiring needs and define role requirements.
  • Create compelling talent acquisition campaigns and employer branding efforts to attract top talent in industrial real estate and beyond.
  • Establish and monitor key recruiting metrics and continuously refine processes for efficiency and impact.
  • Leverage data, tools, and creative sourcing strategies to build diverse, high-caliber candidate pipelines.
  • Champion a talent-first culture in a high-growth, entrepreneurial environment.

What You Won’t Need:

  • A background in traditional HR. This role is not about policies, benefits, or compliance—it’s about people, strategy, and scaling.

Qualifications:

  • Have 7+ years of talent acquisition experience with at least 3+ years in a leadership role.
  • Have built or scaled a recruiting function—ideally within a startup or high-growth company.
  • Bring a strong understanding of real estate talent needs (industrial preferred, but not required).
  • Are a strategic thinker who’s also eager to roll up your sleeves and execute.
  • Thrive in unstructured, fast-paced environments where you can build from scratch.
  • Are results-driven, innovative, and passionate about building great teams.
