Supply Chain Director -Full Time-Nebraska Methodist Health System

Nebraska Methodist Health is looking for a Supply Chain Director to Serve as the primary liaison between Supply Chain and facility leadership, ensuring that departmental services align with and support clinical and operational goals.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Lead Supply Chain Operations: Oversee system-wide programs—including Value Analysis, Strategic Sourcing, Procurement, and Logistics—ensuring alignment with clinical and operational goals.
  • Drive Cost and Quality Outcomes: Implement supply standards and sourcing strategies; lead non-labor contract negotiations and cost-reduction initiatives through data analysis and process improvements.
  • Foster Strategic Partnerships: Manage relationships with key supply chain partners (e.g., GPOs, distributors) to align agreements with system objectives and monitor performance.
  • Promote Continuous Improvement: Collaborate with stakeholders to integrate supply chain practices, enhance engagement, and ensure compliance with contract and sourcing policies.
  • Leverage Data and Technology: Utilize ERP systems and analytics to improve supply chain performance, support forecasting, and drive operational efficiency.

Schedule:

  • Mon - Fri, business hours

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or Healthcare Administration required.
  • Minimum of 7 years’ of progressive leadership in Healthcare required.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Supply Chain strategies and business processes required.
  • Prior experience in interfacing with Information Technology, Finance, Value Analysis, and Hospital Leadership preferred.
  • Prior experience in Lean process improvement and six sigma strategies preferred.

License/Certifications:

  • Certified Materials & Resource Professionals (CMRP) certification through the Association for Healthcare Resource & Materials Management (AHRMM) preferred.
  • Valid and current driver’s license required.
