We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Medical Writer to join our Marketing and External Relations team. This role requires a strong background in medical and scientific writing — specifically in coagulation and/or point-of-care diagnostics. The ideal candidate will translate complex scientific data into clear, engaging content for diverse audiences including clinicians, regulators, business partners, and the public.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop high-quality, accurate, and engaging content for use across marketing, medical affairs, and external communications.

• Write and edit a variety of materials, including:

  • White papers, product briefs, and clinical summaries
  • Scientific posters, abstracts and presentations
  • Website content and digital assets
  • Thought leadership and educational materials
  • Press releases, newsletters, and media content

• Collaborate with internal teams (marketing, regulatory, R&D, commercial) to ensure content is consistent with branding, scientific accuracy, and strategic messaging.

• Stay up to date on the latest research and industry developments in coagulation science and diagnostics.

• Ensure all content meets regulatory, compliance, and publication standards.

• Support the development of submissions for conferences and peer-reviewed journals as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in life sciences, biomedical sciences, or a related field; advanced degree (MS, PhD, PharmD) preferred.

• 5+ years of medical writing experience, with a focus in coagulation, hematology, or point-of-care diagnostics.

• Proven ability to write scientifically rigorous yet accessible content for both technical and non-technical audiences.

• Familiarity with medical writing best practices, regulatory standards, and clinical research terminology.

• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Experience working in a regulated medical device or diagnostics environment a plus.
