Optomi, in partnership with a leading retail organization, is seeking a Technical Product Owner with a strong background in enterprise platforms such as ServiceNow, SAP, or similar systems. This is a highly technical role that requires a candidate comfortable working closely with architects to define system requirements and leading development teams through the product lifecycle.

Responsibilities:

  • Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with users and clients to understand needs and translate them into technical product requirements.
  • Vision & Roadmap: Work with leadership to define the product vision and translate it into a clear, actionable roadmap.
  • Backlog Management: Create and manage the product backlog; prioritize based on business value, technical complexity, and changing needs.
  • Technical Collaboration: Work closely with architects to define and communicate architectural requirements.
  • Lifecycle Ownership: Oversee all stages of product development — from initial design to development, testing, and release.
  • Agile Delivery: Participate actively in Agile ceremonies, including Scrum meetings and product sprints.
  • User Stories: Write detailed, actionable user stories and acceptance criteria for the development team.
  • Quality Focus: Own quality and testing outcomes for the team’s work, ensuring solutions meet functional and technical requirements.
  • Progress Monitoring: Monitor and report on progress, risks, and dependencies at each phase of product development.
  • Communication: Serve as the liaison between the product team, stakeholders, and end users to deliver timely updates and drive alignment.

Experience:

  • 5–10 years of experience as a Product Owner or Business Analyst
  • Strong understanding of enterprise platforms such as ServiceNow, SAP, or similar systems
  • Proven experience in Agile/Scrum methodologies
  • Demonstrated ability to translate business needs into technical requirements
  • Experience working with solution or enterprise architects
  • Strong understanding of system architecture and technical product development
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Familiarity with test-driven development, QA processes, and CI/CD pipelines is a plus
  • Technical degree (Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field) preferred
