Who are we recruiting for?

We are recruiting on behalf of a global leader in ship management, known for delivering high-quality technical, crew, and marine operations to some of the world’s most advanced vessels. With a long-standing reputation in safety, innovation, and sustainability, this company is seeking an experienced HSEQ and Marine Manager to drive safety, compliance, and marine assurance standards across its fleet.

What will you be doing?

As HSEQ and Marine Manager, you will ensure regulatory compliance and marine assurance across vessel operations, reporting directly to the General Manager. Your responsibilities include:

• Overseeing compliance with ISM, ISO 9001/14001/45000, TMSA, and flag/state requirements across safety, quality, and environmental operations.
• Leading incident investigations, risk assessments, internal audits, and emergency response coordination.
• Managing vetting inspections and maintaining approvals with charterers, terminals, and regulatory bodies.
• Supporting FSRUs and gas vessels with marine and cargo operations, documentation, and operational procedures.
• Training and mentoring vessel staff, coordinating with global HSEQ teams, and leading office management reviews and improvement initiatives.

Are you the ideal candidate?

• Seagoing experience as Master on gas vessels or similar maritime qualifications.
• Certified in ISM/ISO auditing, Risk Assessment, Incident Investigation, and DPA training.
• Strong knowledge of maritime regulations, vetting, TMSA, and marine assurance.
• Experienced in managing vessel audits, charter party support, and crew training.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills with fluency in English.
