Life Sciences Application Engineer - Centennial, Colorado - $56,000 - $61,000

Life Sciences Application Engineer required to join a world leader in high performance software and hardware products for the entertainment, engineering and life science industries.

My client has an immediate opening for an innovative and team-oriented individual to assist in supporting and testing video and optical capture systems.

The successful Life Sciences Application Engineer will have a solid Biomechanics and/or Engineering background and will collaborate with the product design team to evaluate and test new products and prototypes as well as helping to innovate all phases of systems support.

The Role:

• Provide first line technical support via telephone, email, video calls, desktop sharing.
• Develop and maintain accurate records pertaining to customer accounts and contacts.
• Plan and deliver installation and commissioning of new systems and software training.
• Travel domestically and internationally to customers’ facilities.
• Create content for effective support and promotional purposes – documentation, website FAQ, tutorials, videos and working examples.
• Test software and hardware to quality assure my client’s products for release.
• Record bugs and feature requests from customers.
• Assist the Sales team by developing effective demonstrations to prospective clientele.
• Represent my client at trade shows, conferences, and events.

Requirements:

• Bachler of Science degree required.
• 30% domestic travel and possible international travel.
• The ideal candidate will have previous experience with supporting technical products and customers as well as a background with motion capture technology, force platforms, EMG devices, and camera lens optics.
• Able to demonstrate proficiencies with Matlab, Python or Visual 3D.
• Other desirable experience; Nexus, Tracker, Shogun, Unity, Unreal, TrackD, VRed or ROS.
