Pay: $23/hour (Contract-to-hire; eligible for conversion after 90 days) + Up to 10% annual performance bonus

Addison Group is partnering with a growing company in the wellness and nutritional supplement space to hire an Inventory Control Shift Leader . This is a newly created role aimed at bringing stronger operational leadership to the warehouse team. Job Description:

The Inventory Control Shift Leader will take charge of inventory operations, ensuring stock accuracy, organization, and compliance. This position plays a key leadership role in guiding the warehouse team, supporting procurement, and helping streamline inventory control processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and supervise a team of three warehouse employees
  • Maintain accurate inventory counts and support daily inventory control functions
  • Monitor expiration dates and ensure all product labels meet quality standards
  • Collaborate with purchasing and receiving teams to manage stock movement
  • Organize and categorize inventory with an eye for detail and efficiency
  • Analyze trends to anticipate inventory needs and support demand planning
  • Conduct routine cycle counts and resolve discrepancies
  • Recommend and implement process improvements
  • Coordinate approval of product materials and packaging as needed

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 years of inventory management experience, including leadership
  • Experience in a warehouse handling food, supplements, or products with expiration dates
  • Active forklift certification (required)
  • Strong organizational, communication, and time management skills
  • Prior exposure to purchasing or inventory software is a plus (training provided)
  • Background in consumer packaged goods is preferred

Additional Details:

  • Schedule: 8:00 AM – 7:30 PM (includes lunch break)
  • Employment Type: Contract-to-hire
  • Interview Process: 1 onsite interview; working interview may be considered
