Position Summary:

As Hotel Manager, you will play a key leadership role in the daily operations of the Inn and Restaurant. You’ll work closely with the General Manager to ensure operational excellence, elevate guest satisfaction, and drive financial performance. This role requires a hands-on leader who thrives in a boutique luxury environment and is passionate about people and performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operational Leadership
  • Oversee daily operations to ensure a high-quality guest experience.
  • Lead and support guest services, housekeeping, and maintenance teams.
  • Monitor and improve operational efficiency across departments.
  • Enforce service standards, cleanliness, and property upkeep.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hospitality regulations.
  • Support the implementation of property-wide initiatives and enhancements.
  • Assist F&B Operations as needed.

Guest Experience

  • Champion a culture of warm, personalized service that exceeds guest expectations.
  • Resolve guest concerns with professionalism and urgency.
  • Monitor guest feedback and implement service enhancements.

Team Leadership

  • Recruit, train, and mentor a high-performing hospitality team.
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations and coaching sessions.
  • Foster a positive, team-oriented culture that encourages growth and accountability .

Revenue & Financial Management

  • Collaborate on room pricing strategies, forecasting, and budgeting.
  • Analyze market trends and implement revenue management best practices to optimize occupancy and ADR.
  • Oversee front office financial operations, including billing, rate verification, and inventory control.

Operational Oversight

  • Ensure smooth daily operations across all departments.
  • Maintain compliance with company policies and industry standards.
  • Coordinate with vendors and contractors to ensure quality and cost-efficiency.

Preferred Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in hospitality management, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Minimum 3 years of progressive leadership experience in hotel or resort operations.
  • Strong knowledge of revenue management principles, tools, and systems.
  • Proficiency in hotel management software (e.g., Opera, Maestro, or similar).
  • Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • An ability to lead by example and inspire a team in a fast-paced, guest-focused environment.
  • Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and varied shifts as needed.

Supervisory Responsibility: This position manages all department employees and is responsible for the performance management and hiring of the employees within that department.
