Pay Rate: $68.42/hr

Start Date: ASAP

Shift: Morning (9:00 AM – 5:00 PM)

Travel: Occasional (Twice a year, likely domestic only – between Indianapolis and Syracuse, NY)

Job Overview:

Our client is seeking an experienced Full Stack Software Engineer to join their team in Indianapolis, IN . This role involves contributing to both cloud-based and embedded systems development , with a focus on AWS Cloud , Python programming , and Embedded Linux environments. You will work within a multidisciplinary team managing software across a complex mechanical or electrical system that includes real-time computing constraints and hardware integration.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain software for both cloud and embedded platforms .
• Work with AWS Cloud services to build scalable and secure backend systems.
• Develop and troubleshoot Python-based applications across distributed systems.
• Engineer and support Embedded Linux environments integrated with hardware systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable full-stack software solutions.
• Lead or mentor junior team members in software best practices and architecture.
• Ensure high standards of code quality and system performance.
• Participate in technical reviews, documentation, and system validation activities.

Required Skills and Experience:

• 8–12 years of professional experience as a Software Engineer .
• Proven expertise in:
• AWS Cloud development
• Python
• Embedded Linux
• Development in both cloud and embedded environments
• Strong understanding of real-time systems and hardware/software integration.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.

Education Requirements:

• Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Computer Science , Electrical Engineering , Software Engineering , or a related technical field.
