Job Description

Position Summary:

An Enrollment Specialist works directly with the Support Services Supervisor and Virtual Systems Manager to successfully process applicants. Enrollment Specialists are responsible for customer service and ensuring that new and current students receive the support they need to be successful. Enrollment Specialist is to align the outcome of the position’s responsibilities and deliverables with the strategic initiatives of Blue-X Virtual, while promoting the organization’s overall vision, objectives, goals and culture.

Qualifications

Education/Certification:

  • High School Diploma/GED (Bachelor’s preferred)

Experience:

  • 1+ Years experience in Customer Experience.
  • 1+ Years experience using Google Workspace preferred.
  • 1+ Years experience with SIS preferred.

  • Ability to maintain effective working relationships with a consistently positive attitude.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Processing Leads in the student information system.
  • Assist with making phone calls to complete new student enrollments.
  • Process applications in a timely manner.
  • Respond to customer inquiries.
  • Provide customers with product and service information.
  • Assist with student onboarding.
  • Travel for Enrollment Fairs.
  • Engage students and families to assist with class access.
  • Identify and escalate priority issues to the appropriate departments.
  • When necessary, assist with attendance.
  • Monitor the Support phone line and email.
  • Return Support line calls and respond to emails.
  • Assist with maintaining inventory of loaner equipment for students.
  • Enroll students in homeroom classes and Orientation.
  • Ensure that students know who their Mentor is and how to reach them.
  • All other related duties as assigned.

Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
