Corporate Director of Dining Services

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Corporate Director of Dining Services to lead and elevate our culinary and hospitality programs across a multi-site portfolio. This executive-level role is responsible for setting the strategic direction, standards, and performance benchmarks for all dining operations within our organization, ensuring an exceptional culinary experience for our residents while aligning with broader business goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide visionary leadership and oversight for dining services across all communities, ensuring consistency, quality, and excellence in resident dining experiences.
  • Drive the execution of company-wide culinary and hospitality strategies, standards, and operational initiatives in collaboration with executive leadership and community teams.
  • Lead and develop high-performing teams of Dining Services Directors, Chefs, Cooks, and Servers, fostering a culture of hospitality, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Partner with Operations and Finance leaders to develop and manage operating and capital budgets, while applying predictive analytics and data-driven insights to optimize service delivery, costs, and resident satisfaction.
  • Ensure compliance with all food safety and sanitation standards, and proactively communicate regulatory updates and quality assurance measures to site-level teams.
  • Oversee the design and implementation of comprehensive training and development programs to elevate skills in culinary execution, service excellence, and dietary compliance.
  • Serve as a key liaison with residents and families to understand evolving preferences, support satisfaction, and create inclusive, responsive dining programs.
  • Provide strategic guidance on menu development, food procurement, inventory controls, and nutritional programming across diverse dietary needs.
  • Lead continuous evaluation of dining operations using KPIs, resident feedback, and benchmarking to identify opportunities for innovation and enhanced performance.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Business Administration, Culinary Arts, or related field required.
  • Minimum of 5 years of leadership experience in large-scale food service, hospitality, or senior living environments.
  • Demonstrated expertise in food service operations, team leadership, and training at a corporate or regional level.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, forecast trends, and make informed operational decisions.
  • Proven ability to lead and manage multi-site teams in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment.
  • Exceptional communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Willingness and ability to travel extensively.
  • Certification as a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN), Nutrition and Dietetics Technician, Registered (NDTR), or ServSafe® a plus.
