Position Summary
Gourjian Law Group is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Case Manager to join our in-office
team. This role encompasses comprehensive paralegal responsibilities, including litigation and
general case support across a variety of practice areas. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced
environment, takes initiative, and excels at supporting attorneys throughout the entire case
lifecycle-from intake through resolution.
Key Responsibilities
- Draft and prepare legal documents, correspondence, and supporting materials to advance client
matters.
- Maintain organized case files and documentation; manage case calendars and deadlines using
firm systems.
- Conduct legal and factual research to support case development.
- Liaise with clients, courts, experts, and vendors with professionalism and efficiency.
- Track case progress and assist attorneys with task management to ensure timely completion of
assignments.
- Assist with client onboarding, case updates, and ensuring high-quality client communication.
- Provide comprehensive support to attorneys across all case types, including managing day-to-day
legal tasks and anticipating case needs.
- Ensure compliance with applicable rules, procedures, and firm standards.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of paralegal experience, including litigation and general case management.
- Paralegal certificate from an ABA-approved program preferred.
- Strong knowledge of California court systems and legal procedures.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and legal case management software.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize competing deadlines.
- Bilingual is a plus.
- Knowledge of Clio is a plus.
Compensation & Benefits
Base Salary: $100,000 - $115,000, commensurate with experience.
